How to Eliminate Snoring?

Question by : How to Eliminate Snoring? I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they've found a cure to eliminate snoring? Thanks

Answer by Bill
If you smoke or are overweight it can cause snoring problems. Poor diet and excessive stress can also cause snoring. There are certain foods and drinks that can contribute to snoring such as soft drinks and sweets. You should also try to avoid alcohol, fatty foods or dairy products before bedtime because they can cause nasal blockage which leads to snoring. Sometimes just using a firmer pillow can help relieve snoring problems. One of the best ways I've found that seems to completely eliminate snoring is by performing some simple mouth and jaw exercises a few minutes a day. After a few sessions doing these exercises my snoring problem was cured for good. I was really happy when someone told me about these exercises at http://RealHot.Info/Stop_Snoring that eliminated my snoring. After years of suffering from this embarrasing problem, I can honestly say my snoring is finally eliminated for good. I know my wife is really happy as well.

question about sleep apnea?

Question by Becksterincali: question about sleep apnea? I have sleep apnea. I wake up at least 10 times a night (that I know of)when the back of my throat closes up and I cant breath. Im spacey during the day and have a constant headache. Ive been prone to depression/anxiety in the past, and to make matters worse....i freak out when I jerk out of a dead sleep when I cant breath and it starts a panic attack. I called my doctor, but he cant see me for 2 weeks. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this until I can make it to my appointment? Im scared.

I think it is unlikely that you have sleep apnea. It is more likely that you are having trouble falling asleep for another reason----poor sleep habits, like maybe too much caffeine or excitement before going to bed, too much noise, stress, etc. Google "sleep hygiene" and you will find some useful tips.

panic/anxiety disorder from sleep apnea?

Question by Edgar: panic/anxiety disorder from sleep apnea? My doctor gave me this machine that I am suppose to have on when I sleep and I have to return it to him. I told him my random breathing interruption that I have and how it game me all this anxiety and panic disorder, no asthma, perfect healthy lungs, so he wants me to do this test and also a test to measure my breathing when I run and walk. anyways, does anyone know what sleep apnea is and if it can cause panic and anxiety, my doctor said that it always causes personality changes from an angry person to an extremely panic person and that it is very common. Im 19 male and have been having this shortness of breath for about 2 years now and its hell. But i never wake up in the middle of the night or anything, only 1 time of these 2 years

Well sleep apnea is a condition where you stop breathing for a short period of time in your sleep and it doesn't always wake you up. Some people it may, but I have seem my mom do it before and I think my husband saw me do it and it scared him half to death. Sleep apnea can cause personality changes, but usually panic and anxiety is what causes sleep apnea. Hope this helps a little. You can google sleep apnea and see if there are any home treatments that you could try. I don't have any solutions. Mine doesn't bug me. My mom had to buy a breathing mask and use it at night. My dad made her stop because it was too loud for him to sleep. I liked it when I still lived at home because then I couldn't hear him snore throughout the house at night.
